Siding FAQs

The questions we get most.

Still unanswered? Send a WhatsApp message, we respond personally, not via a bot.

How long does vinyl siding last in the Midwest?
Quality vinyl siding from manufacturers like Mastic lasts 30–40 years in our climate when correctly installed. The key is proper overlap, nailing pattern, and weatherproofing at every penetration — all things our VSI certification covers.
Can you match my existing siding if only part of it is damaged?
We'll do our best. Mastic and other major manufacturers carry large color libraries. If an exact match isn't available after checking discontinued lines, we'll show you the closest alternative before you commit.
Does new siding improve energy efficiency?
Yes, meaningfully. New housewrap, foam-backed siding, and proper air sealing around windows and doors cuts drafts and heat loss. Many homeowners see lower heating bills the first winter after installation.
Do you install siding on commercial buildings?
Yes. We work on both residential and light commercial properties. Steel panel systems are common for commercial applications and we have experience with those as well.
